'We chose to hold a joint 30th Birthday Party for me and my husband at The Greaves Park as it is our local, and without doubt one of our favourite places to eat and drink in Lancaster. Because of this, it actually had quite a lot to live up to! We were not disappointed. I’m the kind of person who likes things doing ‘just so’ and from the time of booking all our requests and questions were dealt with professionally and with ease. Staff took care to ensure there was no stress in the planning of our party, and all we had to do was look forward to it!
The room was available for us to set up in the afternoon of the day of our party, and the staff listened carefully to my many requests about what I would like doing with the room. In the evening the room looked fantastic and I could tell that the staff had tried their absolute hardest to get it exactly the way we wanted. The buffet food was exceptional and all of our guests commented on the fact we had chosen a great venue.
Saying all this, the best thing about our party and about The Greaves Park in general, are the staff. Anthony and his team provide outstanding customer service at all times – nothing is too much trouble. They are friendly, professional and attend to the smallest detail and I honestly believe this factor contributed the most to the success of our party.
I cannot recommend The Greaves Park enough for a function venue. With so much choice available, a place needs to stand out and go that extra mile. I believe The Greaves Park does that. Now I'm just looking for another excuse for a party there!'
